When did you first start Djing or What got you into DJing?:
Before Asmodeus was Asmodeus, I managed a club in the same original medium plot that needed music. Not really knowing any DJs or how to get any, I just sorta figured it out myself.

What do you find most enjoyable about DJing and playing live on twitch?:
Sharing my musical tastes. I’m always ecstatic when people get excited over my music choices.

Are there any DJs that you follow that you look up to, or inspire you to be better?:
Confusion and Kaen are the big ones. Their energy is amazing and they’re just all around good people.

Tell Us why you love to DJ for ASMO?:
Because it’s home! I get to do what I want here, no matter what anyone else says. This is my place to let loose and play music and songs I love with people I love.

When did you first start Djing or What got you into DJing?:
I’ve always been into music, It’s been a life passion for me, I remember watching DJs play live on youtube and wanted to do this so badly, I first DJ’d as a radio DJ on secondlife way back when. But found the Community on FF and it’s been a ride ever since.

What do you find most enjoyable about DJing and playing live on twitch?:
Nothing Beats playing Live, The sound, The vibration, The movement of the crowd, the excitement and energy. Even on twitch, It’s a feeling like no other. I love Providing an experience that is unique and tells a story through my music.

Are there any DJs that you follow that you look up to, or inspire you to be better?:
There has been many DJs that inspired me to get to where i am today, So many i don’t think i could list them all. They each offer something that drives me to one day play live at a festival.

Tell Us why you love to DJ for ASMO?:
Asmo is my home, It’s where i felt most alive, Plus it’s been a place for me to use my heavier music. FF is about community, but ASMO does it best, it’s welcoming and engaging, the people here feel real and honest, no judgement, only good timez and good vibez. I have been around to so many venues, so many servers, and no place is like asmo.

When did you first start Djing or What got you into DJing?:
I first started in fall of 2021 because I wanted an outlet to play and share music again. My only thought at the time was maybe I could open a little basement somewhere and play old goth music for a handful of people. It’s been a wild journey from that point and one that I’ve just let run it’s course organically.

What do you find most enjoyable about DJing and playing live on twitch?:
It’s the feedback loop for me. This has never been about me. I could’ve just sat in my space and done all this just myself. That feedback loop though, that’s something I’ve missed from the days playing in live acts. I’ve always loved that live vibe and letting the music speak to people. So from where I sit being able to provide the music to something bigger, in a positive and fun environment, knowing other people are enjoying my little part of that. That is everything.

Are there any DJs that you follow that you look up to, or inspire you to be better?:
There are so many that bring something special to the tables. I have a lot of love for any DJ out there pouring their heart into it. Without question there were DJs when I was just starting that motivated me to get better technically. There were DJs who showed me that they could break the standard mold and do something different. Certainly in my very early days getting into metal and the goth/industrial/alt space. If I’m being completely honest though the vast majority of my inspiration comes from the interaction. I’ve had viewers/venue patrons become my friends and seriously push my musical boundaries while sharing music they love with me. Having even one fellow DJ or viewer say to me that they loved the set when it’s over is what keeps me doing it.

Tell Us why you love to DJ for ASMO?:
Asmodeus was a place I used to go just hang out at. I offered to do a guest set for a night and they just took me in. The Asmodeus family has been there for me forever. Some of them before there was even an Asmodeus. It’s hard to not love a place or people that has shown you nothing but love. It’s a place that lets me be just be me. Asmodeus gave me a place to be. They let me play music and be a goof. In return I get that feedback vibe and the interaction with other DJs, streamers, viewers, and club guests that help inspire and drive me.

When did you first start Djing or What got you into DJing?:
I first started in Jan 2022 for fun with my FC. I was using spotify to have some background music for our events. In march I lost a family member to self harm and I wanted to advocate for mental health awareness so I bought a DDJ-400 and started practicing. I was able to talk in my streams about the crisis lifeline and have the number posted for anyone watching.

What do you find most enjoyable about DJing and playing live on twitch?:
I really enjoy making people laugh and have a good time. I try to read the crowd as best as I can and having a live chat feed helps with that.

Are there any DJs that you follow that you look up to, or inspire you to be better?:
I made a joke when I first took it seriously that I wanted to surpass James Hype one day, so he should be my rival. I really respect what he has done with the craft and how he is on a different level than most other DJ’s.

Tell Us why you love to DJ for ASMO?:
I enjoy metal and emo music and am fond of the goth/metal venues. That, coupled with the many friends I have made there, are why I enjoy playing there.

When did you first start Djing or What got you into DJing?:
April 2021, It was a shot in the dark at reviving a long dead twitch channel, and it ended up becoming so much more.

What do you find most enjoyable about DJing and playing live on twitch?:
Knowing I just had the kind of night, that nearly everyone who came through, ended up leaving feeling just a little better from the energy or humor that I put out there for the performance

Are there any DJs that you follow that you look up to, or inspire you to be better?:
I could sit here and name half the Djs in our scene as people I look up to, both big and small for a variety of reasons regarding talent and character. But if I had to give 2 examples of DJs who inspired me to take on the style of DJing that I have, it would be Swage here in the FF community, and James Hype.

Tell Us why you love to DJ for ASMO?:
As a DJ with a complicated schedule, Vyr and the rest of staff have always ensured that I have everything I need, from scheduling to payout, without ever once having to ask. Its a great metal club, but there’s other great metal clubs with other great people out there too My experience as a regular into resident has been the remarkably streamlined, and the legwork you all do to make it so is highly appreciated! Add all this with the unique atmosphere they provide on a weekly basis, and it’s just a guaranteed recipe for a great night! Honorable mention to Degen hour as well. From the hotness to the weirdness and everything that’s both and in between, this crowd never disappoints on the magic department.

When did you first start Djing or What got you into DJing?:
Got into Djing back in August of 2022, researched and planning. Hit play and streamed for the first time on December 25th 2022

What do you find most enjoyable about DJing and playing live on twitch?:
Learning about new music, finding and discovering bands and songs I never would have knew about prior. I enjoy connecting with people and the community through my music.

Are there any DJs that you follow that you look up to, or inspire you to be better?:
There is a DJ from back in the day. Dj Reaper. He never did anything on twitch. He was a Radio DJ that performed for a Immersive radio station called Radio Free Gaia for the mmo The Secret World. His shows are what inspired me to want to become a DJ when i discovered the community in FF14

Tell Us why you love to DJ for ASMO?:
Asmo was the first and only established Metal Club that actually gave me a chance. I was a nobody, no following, no audience, no crowd pull. And yet the Asmo family brought this old stray cat in and gave him a home. The Energy here is always amazing, the folks are nice, actually not judgmental and respectful to each other.
